Oh My! I love the Blackberry Beauty Suite on page 44 of the Mini Catalogue 2021. The combination of Blackberry Bliss and Cinnamon Cider with a gold accents and, amazingly, Polished Pink.
All adds up to a luxurious and very special suite of products. Throw in an ephemera pack and my crafty little heart is singing!
DOUBLE WONDER INSTRUCTIONS
I’ve written a Double Wonder tutorial showing you how to cut 2 pieces of 6”x12” Blackberry Beauty designer series paper to make 11 cards. My tutorial is part of a bundle of One Sheet Wonder tutorials written by demonstrators from around the world. What I have for you today is my version of a card by Karen Hadler. I took 2 strips of the stunning Blackberry Beauty Designer Series Paper from the pieces cut for the double wonder cards tutorial to make this card.
BLACKBERRY BEAUTY CARD DETAILS
The Cinnamon Cider card base is stamped all over with the script words stamp from the Beauty of Tomorrow Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider ink.
The next layer is a mat of Blackberry Bliss and I’ve adhered the strips of DSP to this layer.
Then I sponged the basic white piece using a blending brush and Cinnamon Cider ink. I stamped images from the Beauty of Tomorrow stamp set in Crumb Cake and Blackberry Bliss. I love the bird that looks so free as it soars upwards in the sky.
The sentiment was stamped on Blackberry Bliss card and heat embossed using gold embossing powder. I fussy cut around the words and popped them on dimensionals over the gold shimmer ribbon. Lastly I added some Champagne Rhinestones.
Inside the card I stamped the other words that co-ordinate so well and another bird all in Blackberry Bliss and mounted it on a Blackberry Bliss mat.
