This month my tutorial project is a fun fold book card using the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper from the Mini Catalogue. This paper is a firm favourite with pretty florals on 1 side and a white washed woodgrain in various styles on the reverse.
FUN FOLD BOOK CARD
This fun fold book card design is from Jacque Williams and is a great way to show off beautiful paper that you can’t bear to cut. Secondly, it easily creates a very pretty card. I used her idea of the doily peeking out from behind the front focal layer.
The delicate pencil drawings of small flowers and honeybees from the Honeybee Home stamp set bring a tranquil feeling to the card. Similarly, the woodgrain reverse of the paper.
I’ve layered stamped and diecut pieces together. In addition, I love the pretty, soft Fresh Fressia for the sentiment that coordinates with the paper.
