Description

For the simply succulent bleated birthday card the large die cuts intricately connected succulent shapes reminicent of a stained glass window. I sponged the background with Soft Succulent ink to show off this delicate design. Then added some embossed and sponged succulent flowers and die cut tendrils peeping out from behind the belated birthday sentiment. A monochromatic card that’s anything but simple.

I love getting snail mail. A handmade card in the mail is a special treat these days, don’t you think? Not only are they unique, they’re a cute and thoughtful way to let someone know you are thinking about them. You took time to make it or you took time to find just the right one. And during this time your thoughts are on the recipient.  Handmade greeting cards bring a lot of joy to the maker, the giver and the receiver. Looking complex but with a monochromatic colour pallett this card is simplicity itself.

Me time

Now and then we all need a little time to ourselves to simply wind down. Paper crafting is a great way to relieve stress by focusing your attention on a crafty project. Once you have completed it, the feeling of satisfaction is very rewarding too!

I hold classes around Auckland and at my home in Aka Aka, no experience is necessary and you will create 3 handmade cards. At 2.5 hours each class is an opportunity to unwind, chat and create cards as well as friendships.
