Summer is here and the Seaside Bay stamp set is perfect to create a beachy day themed card. My first choice from the latest mini catalogue. All the elements of a day at the beach with shells, birds and sand.
With inspiration from the catalogue and a card design I worked with recently, I created this contribution to the February tutorial bundle.
SEASIDE BAY BUNDLE OR BY THE BAY SUITE
The images of sand, seashells, birds, and more can’t help but evoke the feelings of tranquility that come with being near the water.
For instance, By the Bay 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper is so pretty, with water-inspired designs and natural hues combined with pearlised or gold shimmer elements. Coupled with ombre ribbon and pearl embelishments.

DESIGN DETAILS
First, I used the die in the set to cut the wavey edge and stamped on the dsp.
Secondly, I’ve tied a floppy bow in Linen Thread and gold embossed the sentiment from Paradise Palms stamp set. Likewise there are great sentiments included in the Seaside Bay stamp set.
The layout of the grass and shells was inspired by the sample on page 22 of the mini catalogue. I included the gold shell and the pearl inside the oyster shell.
Lastly, I added a few more Flat Adesive-Backed Pearls.
