In week two exploring the Heirloom Arrangements Kit, I’ve designed an arched tri-fold card. I would use this design for a special birthday, an anniversary, or another special occasion. I was inspired by Mary Deatherage when she used this design with the Textured Notes stamps last month.

Arched Tri-Fold Card Design Details
I created the base from Crumb Cake cardstock and cut up one of the card bases from the kit for the decorative layer. If you look closely, there’s a join line in the far-right panel, but I chose two pieces with text in opposing directions, making it less noticeable. This was the only way to get the three pieces needed from just one card base.
I created the arches using the Garden Meadow Dies; however, they have since sold out and retired. The Everyday Arches Dies are still available and would provide the same shape.
I built each scene as if each arch was a window, using pieces from the Heirloom Arrangements Kit. I stamped a little in the background using Crumb Cake ink.
Use Many Layers
One of the tricks to using the pre-printed die-cut images from kits is to use many layers. The more depth and interest you can create, the more appealing the overall project will be.

Heirloom Arrangements Kit
I loved creating this pretty card using the elements from the Heirloom Arrangements Kit. It was so easy to mix and match the flowers, tags, labels, and leaves to create individual scenes that still look cohesive on one card. This alternative design showcases the kit’s versatility and is perfect for crafting something truly unique!

Arched Tri-Fold Card Design
I love the simplicity of the fold – and using the arched die set is a great way to frame the images. And this tri-fold gave lots of space to show them all off!

Your Message
I have included another die-cut arch on the reverse so you can write your message to the recipient.

If you missed last week’s project be sure to view the cards as per the instructions Heirloom Arrangements Kit Cards.
Next week I’m making a mini keepsake album, see you then.
