This month the inspiration for my Leaves of Holly card came from last year’s Kraftible project, a center step card. In addition, I loved the colours used by Stesha Bloodhart in her July post, so I combined the two ideas altogether.
TWO STEP STAMPING
Stamps in the set use the two step stamping method. For each leaf there are 2 stamps, a solid one for the background colour and a detailed one for the darker details. Coupled with Basic White card stock you get the 3 colours which adds depth and interest.
Holly Berry die set includes dies to cut the outline of the leaves along with detailed dies. Plus the fabulous rectangle die with 2 leaves on the left and the thin border detail. I used the die for behind the 2 leaves with Evening Evergreen cardstock as a result the white detail stands out.
