I gifted this mini album with case on Saturday at a team gathering. Stampin’ Up! have been celebrating 35 years throughout 2023, culminating with a demonstrator event on Saturday. Uniquely for this event, part of registration was a free OnStage@Home Gift Box! The fabulously colourful box containing a jigsaw, notebook, pens, socks, party confetti and photo props.

The company event was being held virtually so a gathering was organised locally so we could enrich the day by getting together.

Consequently we were asked to bring one table gift that we would pass to the person on our right at the table. For example a table gift is usually a small box or bag containing chocolate or sweets. However, since we only had to make one I decided to go all out 🙂

My inspiration came from a post by Elodie Ventroux  in July. She showed a mini album with a case to hold it.

Mini Album with Case

The case measures 9.7cm wide x 9.3cm tall and the album folded up inside measures 9.2cm wide x 9cm tall. The album then expands out with 6 double sided sections.

Each section is decorated so the album can be used as a keepsake from the event. There are places for photos, stamped words relating to Stampin’ Up!, gathering with friends and celebrating 35 years.

I found that the Garden Walk 6″ x 6″ designer series paper coordinated best with the event colours. Coupled with Wild Wheat as the cardstock for the pages and Starry Sky as the accent to bring the project together.

One of the important stamped pages is the Stampin’ Up! statement of the heart. This mission statement is dear to the heart of every demonstrator as we strive to embody these values.

In addition I have made a video showing the album in and out of the case and a few more details about what I used from the gift box to decorate the pages.

A tutorial on how to make the mini album with case is now available in my tutorial store – Mini Album with Case. The tutorial is written instructions with a cutting guide.

Above all the recipient loved the album and we all enjoyed a day of stamping, entertainment, education, fun, friendships and food. Our next demonstrator only event is in Melbourne in March 2024.
