Using DSP Scraps
Using DSP scraps is so satisfying! Sometimes, cutting into beautiful paper is tough, so making the most of every last piece feels great.
A popular technique is layering strips of DSP on cardstock to create a background. I did a similar project in 2020—take a look here: Instagram Post.
For this card, I arranged DSP strips, adhered them, and die-cut a butterfly shape from the resulting design. Try placing the strips straight or at an angle to highlight different colours and patterns.

Beautiful Butterflies Dies
One of the dies in this set creates a folded butterfly card shape. I used that die for my base and added a detailed butterfly die cut on top for dimension. To finish, I embossed a sentiment in white on Melon Mambo cardstock and die cut with a coordinating label die.
