FUN ON WHEELS POP OUT CARD

Today I have a fun fold using the Fun on Wheels bundle to make a pop out birthday card. The fold is from Susan Campfield and it’s an easy one to adapt to different stamps. However, most of us would have ridden a bike, scooter or skateboard and have family members who do too. Making the Fun on Wheels stamp set and dies a great one for cards and scrapbook pages.

DESIGN DETAILS

This fun fold utilises a Z-fold card base where the front layer covers an inside pop out layer until you open the card.

There is a bit of hidden engineering to make the pop up work. The Happy Birthday stamps are from the Biggest Wish stamp set.

I used the Neutrals  6″ x 6″ designer series paper to influence the colour palette, of Misty Moonlight and Gray Granite. In class we had different combinations so used Night of Navy for the sentiment to bring it together.

The layers of stamps, die-cuts and designer series paper, while quite simple, together with the pop out make this card a wheely fun one.

Stamp some wheels, then cut them out using these coordinating stamps and dies. Make fun cards and scrapbook pages for the bikers, skateboarders, and scooter-ers in your life.

I especially enjoyed using the map image, it co-ordinates with all the modes of transport so well. I’m sure you agree you’ll be going places with this set.

This colourful, fun sample is from the catalogue showing another way to create with this set.

Multiple coloured bikes on a layer of vellum overlaid on designer series paper. This one is from Les Shoppes on page 131. And how cute are the Loose Daisy embellishments from page 139!
