DAINTY DELIGHT POSY CARD

Today’s card and my project for the May tutorial bundle is my Dainty Delight Posy Card. Inspired by a Jacque Williams post from March where she grouped the flowers into a posy with a watercolour background.

DESIGN DETAILS

I added the die cut circles to anchor the flower posy.  Likewise I added texture with 2 layers of embossed cardstock.

The layers and textures created are amazing, this would also look great with flower heads in more of a contrast like the coral Jacque used in one of her samples.

DAINTY DELIGHT STAMPS AND DIES

Carrying over from the latest mini catalogue into the annual catalogue these stamps and dies make creating pretty cards a breeze.

To colour my flower heads I sponged ink onto basic white cardstock and die cut the heads from this. Therefore creating the graduated colour.

The stamp on the circle in Pool Party ink is from the Oceanfront stamp set. I used both the Timeworn Type and Painted Posies embossing folders.

The white embossed sentiment is fussy cut, one of my favourite all ocassion sentiments, on high rotation right now.

Certainly for me, this card ticks all the boxes, I hope you like it too. I’d love to hear from you in the comments.
