This month I decided to get creative with a color combo from the color coach. Check out my Coral Merriest Christmas Card made with Calypso Coral, Sweet Sorbet and Mossy Meadow.
COLOUR COACH
The colour coach is a tool provided by Stampin’ Up! ® that makes colour-matching a breeze.
Download your free copy of the Colour Coach. You can print it out onto white card, cut it up and add a ring so you can flip through the pages. Or I keep mine open on my computer.
Above is the page I used for my inspiration.
The basic idea is to follow a line, of which there are 3 per card. However, I jumped around and used Calypso Coral, Sweet Sorbet and Mossy Meadow. As they were all matched with Calypso Coral I felt okay about swapping the green.
This is the Calypso Coral card but Calypso Coral appears 8 more times on other cards within the coach, a total of 11 combinations. So on the computer I can search for the name of a colour and then arrow through all of the combinations.
However, there are other combinations that also work, like I demonstrated by switching the green.
DESIGN DETAILS

To anchor the tree, I used a layer of Vellum cut with the Deckled Rectangle dies.
A good tip for the gold tinsel and ornaments is to add adhesive sheets to the back of the paper/foil before die cutting. Then you can simply peal the backing away and stick them onto the tree.
