DESIGN DETAILS

Each kit contained a pre-stitched piece of Country Lace designer series paper and Country Woods designer series paper for the base of the page. Pre-cut strips of the Frames & Flowers specialty designer series paper and 3 pages of the die-cut designs along with cardstock mats. Cutting and assembly instructions with photos.

The Frames & Flowers paper pack which includes three sheets of pre-printed die cuts made the layouts come together very quickly.

Likewise for making cards, and there was plenty left over, so I based my July card making classes around this paper pack.

PRODUCT CO-ORDINATION

The Love this Moment stamp set was designed specifically for memory keeping, so it’s a great one to add to your next order. The typeset font and the smaller words for extra emphasis to the theme of the photos.

In addition, the Keeping Tabs Bundle is great for adding little tabs either for journaling cards tucked away, over an edge or under a layer for extra interest.

We used the Eyelet Embossing Folder which I hadn’t purchased yet, I have now! It pairs perfectly with the Frames & Flowers paper and by rubbing lightly over the embossing with an emery board gives the slightly worn look.

Another great tip was to scrunch the pre-printed die-cut elements in your hand, and carefully unwrapping before adhering with dimensionals to the page. This gives the elements a bit of life, rather than being flat. I loved that idea and used it in the July class projects as well.

FINAL THOUGHTS

The experience of creating these Frames & Flowers scrapbooking layouts was fun. I enjoyed having a design to follow because a 12″ x 12″ design space can be overwhelming when learning scrapbooking. Certainly I’m keen to add scrapbooking to my crafting skills with the view to offerring classes. If you’d like to be invited please reach out and let me know.

I hope this scrapbooking layout inspires you to explore the Frames & Flowers paper pack and create your own pages or cards. Happy crafting!
