Here’s a closer look at my projects from my presentation during the recent Mini Catalogue Launch Party. The launch party on Facebook is still available to view.

NESTED FRIENDS BUNDLE
First is the card I presented and the video of my presentation. I love the colours and cute eggs in the nest, this was a fun card to create.
The detail is the nest stamp is amazing, I love the leaves that are protruding in the image. The bird and branch are also detailed and complimentary to create the perfect handmade card! There are 4 sentiments in the set, appropriate for many occasions.
The dies include outline dies for the nest, bird, branch and eggs. Along with detailed dies for a layered nest and two sizes of leaves with veins.
EXTRA SAMPLES
Coupled with my presentation card, I also showed some other samples made with the Nested Friends Bundle.
The bird house card was a fun fold design from Lisa Curcio. I used the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper from the annual catalogue. Uniquely this paper created a lovely setting for the birds.
Likewise I used the same DSP on the 3 gift cards made in the same style with the white embossed words on black.
LAUNCH PARTY GIVE BACK
Lastly, instructions for the Nested Friends card from my video are part of the pdf tutorial bundle of the whole event available for sale. The proceeds of all sales are being donated to the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s research.
The price is CAD $25. There were over 50 presentations so there will be approx 50 tutorials in the pdf. Also, with the videos still available in the event it makes it very easy to re-create any of the projects yourself.
It was great fun to be part of this event, plus, being able to bring you so many amazing presentations of new products is not possible on my own. I’m very grateful to Stefanie for organising and running the event.
We have another one planned for the Annual Catalogue Launch in May so stay tuned for details.
