I have loved using the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks this past month. Firstly I made a tag based on the one on page 10 of the mini catalogue. I made 10 as table gifts for a team event.
Next I was making a card to decorate the front of the goodie bags for a customer event – Kraftible. Now the tag design was turned into a card by adding the Fern 3D embossing folder as a background.
While considering my contribution tutorial for November I turned to the flower masks and re-invented the card this time.
The Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks for the flower and leaves are numbered and have a notch in the corner. I marked the notch on my grid paper and each time I changed layer I was able to line it up with the notch for perfect placement.
The set of masks also includes the houndstooth mask I used for the pattern on the tag, a snowflake mask and a smaller leaves mask.
You can use blending brushes or sponges with the masks. In addition you can use embossing paste.
