Welcome back, I just held my annual Christmas Sampler class last weekend. This year is a summer Christmas theme. All the festive summer feels with trees, caravan and wreaths in Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Pool Party, Real Red & Gold.
Firstly, I opted for the traditional 9 squares sampler design this year, using the largest of the square dies from Stylish Shapes Dies to mount on the Evening Evergreen 7.6cm x 7.6cm (3″ x 3″) squares.
Secondly, this photo illustrates the little shadows created by mounting each square on dimensionals, perfect!
Lastly, the Christmas wreath was stamped in Evening Evergreen with Real Red berries. Puff paint was added to each berry and heated to puff up. Therefore the red ink turns the puffed paint a little pink. Beautiful coupled with the music embossed background I used it as my center square on my Christmas sampler.
Others in the class used a different square in the center. In the end each one was layed out differently.
