Isn’t this the just cutest typewritter set. It’s a mix of solid and open line images along with several greetings in a classic typewriter font. This Just My Type card was a real fun one to create using a colour combination I’ve recently discovered.
I used the layout from Elizabeth Price featuring the leaves, flowers and ribbon and I grabbed the torn and embossed layers of paper idea from Vicki Boucher.
Let’s talk colour, my new go-to colour is Wild Wheat, I love it’s mix of earthiness and gold. I’ve paired it with Petal Pink and Old Olive just like another card I shared on Instagram recently.
I loved the different elements in Elizabeth’s layout, having the leaves and flowers poking out from behind the paper.
Vicki used layers of ripped white card stock with the top embossed layer in a recent artisan project with Cheerful Daisies. I thought the ripped and embossed paper went nicely with the typewriter.
JUST MY TYPE STAMP SET
The stamps are a stand alone set featuring a hand-drawn typewriter and other desk accessories to create adorable cards for your friends and family who love books, writing, or are just enamored with the vintage charm of the past.
The everyday sentiments are in a classic typewriter font that complements the images perfectly.
I also love this catalogue sample using the typewriter keys that spell hello with the flowers behind. The catalogue is full of brilliant inspiration like this.
