Welcome back! This week I’m sharing my Joyful Squares Twist Card, featuring the Joyful Squares Bundle from the cover and pages 54–55 of the January–April 2026 Mini Catalogue. This bundle immediately caught my eye as a fun and practical way to create quick cards in both rectangle and square formats, as well as playful scrapbook pages and albums.

Why I’m Loving Joyful Squares Twist Card
The clever twist fold adds interest while still being simple enough to recreate, making it perfect for confident beginners and experienced crafters alike.
What I love most about the Joyful Squares Bundle is how the square shapes make it easy to create balanced layouts with an interactive element.
The bundle combines stamps and dies that allow you to craft personalised photo corners, radiant sunbursts, and heartfelt geometric shapes. You can design custom frames, striking card borders, and delightful accents for cards, tags, and memory-keeping projects. It’s a fantastic bundle for adding a touch of handmade joy to every creation and highlighting life’s most special occasions.
Joyful Squares Twist Card Inspiration
The design for this Joyful Squares Twist Card was inspired by a Triangle Twist Square Card I saw on Patty Bennett’s website. I loved the fold and thought it would be fun to recreate it using this new bundle. The twist fold is a great way to showcase patterned paper and create that special “wow” moment when the card is opened.

Designer Series Paper Choices
For this project, I used the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper, which worked perfectly with the bold square elements. There is also a coordinating DSP called Square Snippets that pairs beautifully with the Joyful Squares designs and adds even more fun to the mix. And yes… I’ve already added that paper to my next order 😉
Why Two-Toned Cardstock Works So Well
The Two-Toned Cardstock is the perfect weight for this design. It folds and opens really well, yet still feels sturdy and good quality in your hands. This makes it ideal for interactive cards like this one, where structure really matters.
Measurements and Video Tutorial
